Tihs auction is for a nice vintage cast aluminum craftsman horizontal lapidary saw. Features a very sturdy, solid acst body that can accomodate a 6 blade.
Saw is in excellent, clean condition, with no slop in the arbor shaft and no rboken parts. Measuring approximately 10 by 12 by 7-3/4 tall, the saw includes a swinging feed arm with a clamp/vise built into it. Also included is a cast clamp-on water feed cup with valve that fits anywhere on the rim to cool the blade. Saw features a 1/2 arbor and a 3 pulley. Arbor shaft lubrication is supplied by a manual grease cup on the end of the shaft.
Coolant drains through a 1/4 hole in the bottom of the body into a pan or drain, or a 1/8 pipe fitting can be tapped into it for a remote drain. No blade or motor are included, but any wash machine or dryer fractional-horsepower motor will work. I'd recommend a 1/3hp. Saw is in excellent, clean shape, with veyr nice paint and no broken or corroded parts. It wsa always well taken care of and used carefully by an adult. Solid american quality, not the usual chinese junk. You won't be disappointed.
