Mammoth ivory chunkb/c grade material for knife handles. This is a chunk of mammoth ivory, whch can be used for carvings, jewelry, knife scales, gun grips and other projects.
The ivory is dry and comes from siberia. It has good interior material, but theer are 2 intersecting radial cracks. There are no circular cracks. The bark color is veyr nice, with some blue and green spots.
It also has a nice texture with cracks, which leave no doubt about the age of this piece. The chunk measures 6 inches long. Diameter is 3 inches. Weight is 1.6 lbs.
